NYSTRS Summer Hours Begin Soon

The following information was recently provided to NYSTRS’ participating employers. As a Retirement System delegate, it is important you are aware of these issues. Please share this Delegate News with NYSTRS members in your district. 

Please be aware NYSTRS’ operating hours shift during the summer.

The System’s summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday. This schedule will begin Thursday, June 18 and remain in effect through Wednesday, Sept. 9.

We will return to our regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Thursday, Sept. 10. 

NYSTRS will be closed the following holidays:

• Juneteenth: Friday, June 19
• Independence Day (observed): Friday, July 3
• Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 7
