Section 5011.1- New York State Teachers' Retirement System Member Group Life Insurance Plan Established

The New York State Teachers' Retirement System Member Group Life Insurance Plan, hereinafter referred to as the plan, is hereby established and created, for the purpose of providing group life insurance for the payment of the benefits, or portions thereof, required by section 512 of the Education Law and sections 448, 448-a, 508, 508-a, 606 and 606-a of the Retirement and Social Security Law.
