| Serving New York Educators Since 1921 |

NYSTRS members work for more than 800 school districts, colleges, charter schools and Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). The accuracy and timeliness of the salary, service and other pertinent information you provide us about our members is critical to our function.
Employers also are responsible for electing and reporting delegates to attend the System's Annual Delegates Meeting, held in November. By law, each chief school administrator, or his or her designee, is responsible for overseeing this process. (In many cases, the administrator assigns the tasks to another party, such as the local bargaining unit.) View the list of delegates and alternates reported to NYSTRS for the Aug. 1, 2009-July 31, 2011 term.
Read about delegate responsibilities and entitlement in our Delegate FAQs or in our pamphlet Electing & Reporting Retirement System Delegates, and learn about the delegate election process.
