Copy of Latest Administrative Bulletin

For your information, the enclosed notice was sent to all chief school administrators, college and university presidents and school principals, accompanying an assortment of fliers and publications from the System.

This is the last "TRS Newsstand" mailing for the current school year.  Most of the newsstand materials will be revised and distributed in time for the new school year.  If additional supplies are needed before then, please photocopy the existing documents.  Remember, too, that all publications are available on our Web site (www.nystrs.org).

Please check to make sure your district places these materials in a spot easily accessible to our members.

Please Place Enclosed Documents in the "TRS Newsstand"

This mailing contains items to be placed in the "TRS Newsstand," a reusable information rack distributed by the New York State Teachers' Retirement System and sent to you in November 1999.  This will be the last newsstand mailing for the 1999-2000 school year, so please place these documents in the display unit as soon as possible.

Please do not discard the display unit when supplies are low or the newsstand is empty.  TRS will periodically send you new or updated publications and frequently requested forms to place in the newsstand.  You can expect the next mailing in the fall of 2000.

May we suggest that when this school year is over, the display unit be retrieved from its current location and stored in a safe place for the summer?  By doing this, you can ensure the newsstand will be readily available when you receive our fall mailing.
