“TRS Newsstand” Items Enclosed

At right is a copy of a mailing sent to all school principals and administrators, requesting that they insert pamphlets and forms we provided into existing TRS Newsstands. A sample of each document is enclosed with this letter.

When you return to school in 2000, please check to ensure that the newsstand contains these inserts. If not, please determine if the school has received our mailing and inform us if it has not arrived.

Do not discard the samples we have sent you. Hang onto them and use them as “masters” from which to make additional copies should the supplies in the box require replenishment.

Thank you for your assistance.

This mailing contains documents to be placed in the "TRS Newsstand" sent to you in November. Please take a minute to place these fliers and forms in the display unit so our members have access to the most up-to-date benefit information.

The newsstand - a reusable display unit produced and distributed by the New York State Teachers' Retirement System - should be located in an area used frequently by your staff, such as faculty rooms or lounges. Any publications, fliers and forms sent to you by TRS should be displayed in this unit.

Please do not discard the display unit when supplies are low or the newsstand is empty. We will periodically send you new or updated publications and frequently requested forms to replenish the newsstand.

Thank you for your help.
